Director, Media Planning, helps lead the media agency in day-to-day strategic development, tactical planning and implementation for the Society’s $20M+ marketing program with regard to master brand and sub-brand initiatives across all media channels, including television, print, radio, outdoor and digital to meet key business objectives around revenue generation, new audience engagement and brand preference.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborate with media agency in preparing, purchasing, analyzing and optimizing media plans against the $20M+ marketing budget for national and local paid media campaigns across all channels to deliver on business objectives.
- Consult with media agency to align on campaign KPIs and measurement strategies.
- Work with market research team and media agency to collect data, analyze results, make optimization recommendations for campaigns and prepare reporting for the organization.
- Work collaboratively with creative content team and agency on asset development and implementation across all media channels and placements.
- Consult with social & SEM teams to ensure paid media channels are optimized to drive efficient results.
- Counsel ACS colleagues across the country on local media buys, fulfilling advertising and PSA requests, and integrating brand marketing strategies into local events to achieve maximum effectiveness for the brand.
- Lead media agency in development of biannual competitive analysis to maintain knowledge of competitors’ business and marketing strategies, and adjust plans, budgets and target audiences as necessary.
- In conjunction with Finance and media agency, prepare yearly PSA reporting detailing all in-kind placements and the value associated with them for auditing purposes.
- Conduct regular meetings with Finance, Business Operations and other key Society partners to monitor the media budget and recommend adjustments for efficiency and cost-savings where applicable.
- Directly manage the accrual and billing process with media agency and internal finance team.

- Agency experience a benefit, experience managing one or more agency relationships
