At Redemptive Cycles, we believe that transportation equity is social equity. We believe that getting more people on bikes makes Birmingham a more well-connected, vibrant and livable city. We know from experience that when a low-income or homeless community member takes ownership of a bike that they have a greater opportunity to scale socioeconomic barriers. It is our privilege to serve Birmingham through our not for profit efforts via programs such as Earn- A-Bike, Sliding Scale Repairs, maintenance classes, and others.
