Mission: 

Heidelberg University Association’s mission is to support international exchange of students and scholars, and to promote joint educational and research programs between Heidelberg University and American universities. It will build and foster relationships between Heidelberg University and its alumni living in the United States and establish partnerships with private donors, foundations and corporations in order to engage their support for charitable, educational and scientific projects at Heidelberg University
Heidelberg University Association (a 501(c)3 non-profit organization) represents Heidelberg University in the United States of America and Canada.

Programs: 

Founded in 1386, Heidelberg University is Germany’s oldest university. In the course of its more than 630 years’ history, the University has established itself as a center of outstanding research and teaching, with a particular focus on its interdisciplinary strength. Today 30,000 students are enrolled at its 12 faculties. Heidelberg University is known for its international outreach, almost 20 percent of its students come from abroad. The university also hosts hundreds of international visiting professors and researchers. As a comprehensive research university, Heidelberg offers a wide range of excellent study programs in the life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities and ranks among the top research institutions worldwide.

Heidelberg University Association supports Heidelberg University's outreach in North America, engages the alumni community in the U.S. and Canada, assists with collaboration between Heidelberg University and institutions in North America, organizes fundraising campaigns, and promotes Heidelberg University's programs.
