About Us
Mission:

Friends of Trees brings people together to plant, care for, and learn about trees and urban green spaces in Pacific Northwest communities. We inspire people to change the natural world around them through a simple solution. Planting Trees. Together.

Programs:

Friends of Trees has two main planting programs:

The Neighborhood Trees Program plants trees in neighborhoods, along city streets, and on private properties.  This program plants over 3,000 trees each year in Oregon and Washington.

The Green Space Program plants native trees and shrubs in natural areas and green spaces.  This program plants over 45,000 trees and native shrubs each year in Oregon.

Each year we engage over 6,000 volunteers in tree planting, tree care, and invasive removal.
