About Us
Mission:

Fondy Food Pantry provides not only nutritious food and essential items to families, it also has been providing hope since 1973.

Programs:

Fondy Food Pantry started in 1973 as an emergency pantry. In 2017, the Fondy Food Pantry was relocated and transformed into a walk in choice pantry. The Fondy Food Pantry serves those who struggle with food insecurity in Fond du Lac County. The pantry is located at 473 W. Rolling Meadows Drive in Fond du Lac. It is a 12,000 square foot building open 3 days per week providing nutritious food to over 7000 families in 2022. The Fondy Food Pantry is a Feeding America and TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) member pantry.  In 2011, a partnership program, Food for Thought was created to provide weekend bags of food to elementary students identified by the school district. The number of students increased over the years from 50 bags per week to just under 1000 in 2022. The Food for Thought program comprises one fourth of the annual Fondy Food Pantry budget and one fifth of the food distributed. In 2023, the Fondy Food Pantry has reached a milestone, 50 years of service to the families of Fond du Lac. Also, January of 2023 saw a return to walk in choice pantry sessions. Families can again come in and choose their own food or continue to go through our drive thru pantry. The Board of Directors is continually striving to meet the needs of the families of Fond du Lac County.

Why Work For Us?:

At Fondy Food Pantry, volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. Our core tenets are respect and dignity for both our clients and our volunteers. As an all volunteer organization, we each have equal input in the sustainability of the pantry. Every volunteer has a skill set to offer. Every volunteer has ideas to share based on their life experiences. Every volunteer plays a valuable role in our mission. These are assets to be embraced. Together, a variety of voices contribute to make our community better
