Founded in 2010 as Charter Board Partners, we offer support for boards across the country, including recruitment, training, and matching, cohort programs focused on leadership and equity, board assessments, and deep-dive coaching. We also provide leadership for the sector about the importance of boards and what effective, equity-focused governance looks like, including widely available trainings and high quality tools and resources. Since 2010, we have supported over 650 boards across 19 states; matched over 600 board members to boards, 79% of whom are people of color; and trained over 4,600 board members, with over 97% reporting we helped them become a better board member.
