Center for Excellence in Nonprofits (CEN) believes that the most effective way to increase the capacity of the nonprofit sector is to support, empower, and sustain the staff and board members doing this critical work. Moreover, to effect real change and fight systemic injustice, nonprofit organizations and their leadership need to reflect and represent the communities we serve. Our goal is to be a strong, accessible resource of information and support for nonprofit emerging leaders, executive directors, and board members seeking to maximize the effectiveness of their organizations. We accomplish this by providing inclusive training, peer support networks, and organizational consulting to hundreds of nonprofits and thousands of leaders each year.​
