About Us
Mission:

To preserve blues heritage, celebrate blues recording and performance, expand worldwide awareness of the blues, and ensure the future of the uniquely American art form

Programs:

International Blues Challenge (IBC) - represents the worldwide search for those Blues bands and solo/duo Blues acts ready to perform on the international stage, yet just needing that extra big break.  Each Affiliate of The Blues Foundation has the right to send a band and a solo/duo act to represent its organization at the IBC.

Blues Music Awards brings together Blues performers, industry representatives, and fans from all over the world to celebrate the best in Blues recordings and performances from the previous year.  The BMA's are generally recognized as the highest honor given to blues musicians and are awarded by vote of Blues Foundation members.

HART Fund (Hand Artists Relief Trust) is for Blues musicians and their families in financial need due to a broad range of health concerns.

Generation Blues was created to provide financial assistance to aspiring young Blues musicians whose limited financial resources might prohibit them from attending a Blues music learning opportunity.
