Job purpose

The Senior Project Manager, Performance at Partners for HOME is pivotal in advancing our mission of enhancing service delivery and efficacy within the community. This role is designed for a dynamic and strategic leader capable of managing and improving the performance of projects funded by HUD and Partners for HOME (PfH). The manager will be instrumental in fostering collaborations with a range of stakeholders, including the City of Atlanta and Continuum partners, to ensure high standards of data integrity and performance are met across all initiatives. By developing, monitoring, and refining performance dashboards and reporting systems, the manager will uphold and enhance compliance and alignment with federal and organizational guidelines. This position not only requires a keen ability to manage projects and lead teams in a fast-paced environment but also demands a deep commitment to our mission of leading a coordinated community effort and to layer and leverage the resources and relationships to make homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an ambitious, and industrious relationship builder to undertake and assist with a variety of tasks associated with the performance project management tasks under the direction of the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement.

Operational duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Working in close partnership with internal staff, the City of Atlanta Staff/Departments, and other key stakeholders to execute pertinent performance monitoring and data quality activities;
  • Leading performance process of HUD and PfH-funded projects including designing, monitoring, and analyzing performance reports for HUD-funded projects;
  • Participating in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans when additional assistance improving performance outcomes are needed;
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of CoC performance dashboards, which are posted quarterly online;
  • Evaluating and monitoring the contractual performance and compliance obligations of the CoC’s service agreements with HUD funded programs;
  • Partnering with agencies receiving related funding resources to further alignment with the CoC;
  • Providing guidance and interpretation to the CoC of HUD regulations/guidelines, contract language, procurement policies, and procedures;
  • Developing broad-ranging relationships and provide exceptional customer service to our Continuum Partners, partnering with them to ensure a transparent system is in place to measure performance outcomes and deliver results;

 

Educational Background: 
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred
Skills/Experience: 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High energy and a passion for the CoC’s mission and goals
  • 4+ years in project management
  • 4+ years in in social services
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines
  • Significant experience building relationships, and gaining community buy-in and consensus building
  • Experience leading work groups and trainings
  • Previous experience in partnering with leadership for the delivery of projects
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Superb organizational skills, with the proven ability to create and implement efficient development systems, plan strategically, allocate work, set, and manage objectives, analyze and mitigate risk, and create and manage projects
  • Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented environment, and to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Project Management Certification a bonus

Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise direct reports and work of others as it relates to performance and special projects.

Financial Responsibilities

May be responsible for monitoring contracts, grants, and other awards as it relates to performance and expectations.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Compensation

$70,000 annually with benefits.
