Prager University Foundation (PUF), a high-growth nonprofit with conservative values is looking for a full-time, in-house Recruiting/HR Manager to help continue building our team for success and manage HR needs. We are leaders in the digital space, and as such, have a need for someone that understands recruiting for marketing/production roles as much as fundraising roles.
 

Areas of Responsibility: 

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Design and update job descriptions

- Source potential candidates from various online channels  

- Prepare and distribute assignments and tests for potential candidates

- Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers, working with them throughout the hiring process

- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs

- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them onboard

- Provides day-to-day counsel on matters concerning employee relations, including performance improvement (disciplinary process), HR compliance, etc.

- Conducts research, contributes to projects and timelines, and participates as a hands-on contributor on teams and committees toward the successful completion of various HR Initiatives.

Requirements

- Proven work experience as an HR Recruiter/HR Manager (5 years)

- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases

- Experience with sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, etc.)

- Passion for PragerU's mission to further what we call "Americanism," and familiarity with the concepts espoused in our digital content

- Bachelor’s Degree

- Commitment to excellence in all endeavors

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Must be a self-starter who can prioritize tasks with limited supervision

Experience working effectively with a variety of personalities

Compensation/Benefits:
