As Program Manager: School Launch Team, you will support the creation, launch, and operation of a network of high-quality, full-scholarship Montessori-inspired preschools in underserved communities. You will develop the systems, tools, processes, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to achieve your primary goal: keeping school launches on schedule. You will be responsible for the details and core operations required to launch schools, including tracking milestones, reporting on progress to launch, managing construction and vendors. Additionally, you will balance your time to focus on complex challenges, to drive innovation, and to build the playbooks and standard operating procedures fueling our ability to scale. You bring passion for our mission, willingness to operate at the ground level and at a higher altitude, and comfort with the ambiguity of a dynamic new organization to pursue operational excellence in service of children.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of relevant and rigorous operations experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience managing and leading teams of high-achieving functional specialists
- Complex project management experience with proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic growth plan for a geographically-distributed organization
- Exemplary technical and organizational skills, including aptitude with project management tools, software, and approaches
- History of negotiating and executing contracts as well as managing the quality of service-providers and vendors
- Proven ability to influence others and facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests
