Oversee and drive the vision for all employment related services provided by the non profit. Develops and maintains business and community relationships that mutually benefit individuals with disabilities and business/community partners.

Areas of Responsibility: 

 

 

  • • Develops programs that increase employment opportunities and community inclusion for individuals with disabilities, while creating mutual benefits for the business and community partners.
  • • Promotes practices and policies that support the full inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the workforce and in the community.
  • • Creates a department and agency culture that results in exceptional service to consumers, a quality work environment for staff, and effective interdepartmental cooperation and communication.
  • • Ensures that the department provides quality services to consumers that enable them to achieve their full potential for employment and accomplish the goals identified in their IHSP service plan.
  • • Provides ongoing training, support, supervision and mentoring to enable staff to competently perform their assigned duties; ensures new staff are adequately trained prior to providing direct services; and ongoing staff receive training to enhanced their existing skills and competencies.
  • • Implements policies, procedures, and timelines to ensure compliance with all CARF standards and funding source requirements.
  • • Develops and implements a realistic, financially sound annual budget. Tracks performance to budget on monthly basis and identifies trends and variances to budget. Makes operational changes where appropriate to improve or sustain the department’s financial performance.
  • • Confirms case records meet CARF and funding source standards by overseeing monthly reviews of case records in accordance with the Case Record Review Protocol.
  • • Makes every effort to achieve program outcomes identified on the Outcomes Management Report. Tracks and reports on program outcomes via Outcomes Management Report every six months and the character of caseload every twelve months.
  • • Ensures that all billing is completed timely, accurately and in accordance with sound financial
Educational Background: 
Bachelors degree or MBA
Strong presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
