The Peninsula Jewish Community Centers (PJCC) Camp KEFF has provided outstanding summer, fall, winter, and spring programs for youth from age 3- grade 11 for more than five decades. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where youth & teens can play and grow while loving their authentic selves. Hundreds of campers attend our programs each year to enjoy our week-long sessions filled with Jewish values, inspired to make the world a better place! All our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association.

The Supply Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operations of the Camp Keff Programs. This staff member works to ensure that the food and supplies we have at camp are organized, inventoried, healthy, appropriate, and cost-effective. The Supply Coordinator will work with the head staff team, to make sure to support their program needs, adhere to the designated budget, and that the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Purchase, organize and maintain food and program supplies within established budget.
  • Work closely with staff to ascertain supply needs.
  • Ensure that food and supplies are stored and handled by all staff in a safe manner.
  • Organize lunch from our vendor and snacks.
  • Provide food supplies that adhere to dietary restrictions encountered in the camp community.
  • Organize and maintain all first aid and safety supplies.
  • Work with the staff and within established budget to ensure that camp practices are environmentally sound.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of camp family events
  • Assist as needed in providing senior staff coverage to all programs.
  • Uphold the mission and values of the PJCC and camp programs.

Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday, May 15 May 26

7:30 am 5:00 pm, Monday Friday, June 12 August 11

Mandatory staff training 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday May 30-June 9, includes a mandatory overnight.

Additional extended days and/or overnights may be required. Dates and schedules for extended work hours will be provided during staff training. Additional opportunities through August 11 are available.

Mandatory Family events:

  • Open house June 7th 6:00-8:00pm
  • Family Picnic June 23rd 6:00-8:00pm
  • Family Picnic July 28th 6:00-8:00pm
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum of 1 year of college from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Organized and task-oriented.
  • Basic First Aid, Adult and Child CPR with AED certified or ability to obtain upon employment.
  • Passion for working with youth.
  • Experience working in a camp environment.
  • Experience in food service logistics or organizational support a plus.
  • Food Handler certificate or ability to obtain upon employment.
  • Knowledge of Jewish culture a plus.
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before start of employment

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $1040-$1205 per week depending upon experience. Overnight bonus of $75/night for sleepovers and camping trips. Free Summer membership to the PJCC Athletic Center.
