The CEO plans and executes all aspects of the FSCC programs, and is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the organization. The CEO maximizes all external relationships with local, state, and federal governmental entities, local and regional community-based health and human service organizations, and other related representatives, and serves as the primary spokesperson for the agency. The CEO assists the BOD in defining and upholding the agency mission, values, and vision. The CEO‘s activities support the agency’s stated purpose and directives as established through its strategic planning, reflect stewardship of the agency’s resources, and promotes its performance goals.

This position requires a minimum of ten years of progressive advancement in executive administration positions in the health care field, preferably with experience in behavioral health care settings, and expertise in the areas of organizational financial and performance management, emerging technologies within the field, and marketing and community relations. Ideally, the CEO candidate will present a range of experience within New York State (NYS)-based health care organizations, and familiarity with NYS Medicaid reform and system transformation initiatives supporting managed care and value based payment.
