DEAN seeks an experienced data, technology, and evaluation leader to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of our work; lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of qualitative and quantitative data across DEAN partners; and to support the strategic alignment of the partnership to address gaps and improve educational and career-related outcomes. In addition to guiding DEAN’s data work with partners and performing data analysis to measure impact, this position must understand how to leverage technology in support of a robust shared data environment. This role is key in elevating the equity imperative of improving the education system for all learners, strengthening DEAN’s capacity to assess the effectiveness of a system-wide pathways strategy, centering strategies and interventions on shared data and evaluating the impact of collaboration and collective work. This role will work closely with DEAN leadership, consultants and partners to create and/or improve systems and strategies in support of common goals.

Areas of Responsibility:

Denver Education Attainment Network (DEAN) Overview

The Denver Education Attainment Network (DEAN) ignites and accelerates systems change, connecting stakeholders and driving collaboration to build an education-to-career system that works better for all learners, with a focus on learners who have historically and presently been excluded from high-value career pathways.

DEAN was founded in 2014 as a direct response to persistent equity gaps in educational attainment and economic opportunity. As a non-profit that sits outside the system, DEAN is in a unique position to work between and among education- and workforce-centric institutions, organizations and state agencies, to identify and build collaborative strategies and connect work for greater impact.

DEAN leads collaborative career-connected pathways initiatives with Denver Public Schools, Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Denver, Emily Griffith Technical College, the City and County of Denver, Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE), Colorado Department of Education (CDE), Colorado Community College System (CCCS), Colorado Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and other community organizations. The DEAN partnership focuses on the common goal to dramatically increase the number and diversity of learners who complete high-quality career pathways and earn credentials that lead to good jobs and economic opportunity.
