Wellness Center Director

This position provides leadership and direction for the Randy Travis Wellness Center and Horizon Point programs and activities along with YMCA group exercise. This includes recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating high quality staff to provide a friendly, safe, welcoming and supportive environment in which to help people meet wellness goals. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating staff
  • Developing, implementing, evaluating and innovating wellness programs and activities
  • Ensuring that wellness programs and activities meet or exceed member engagement standards with a focus on relationship building and helping people to meet achieve goals. 
Educational Background: 
Must have a four-year degree in wellness or related field or have a minimum of six years of related field experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must be certified in group exercise, fitness specialist and strength & conditioning through either the YMCA or a nationally recognized certification agency. Must have a successful history of recruiting, training, supervising and recognizing staff.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $41,600.00
