The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is looking for an HR Administrator to join the team and support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Administrator is responsible for managing all the HR related technical functions of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes new hire processing, data changes and benefit management. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality results through an ability to work efficiently with a strong attention to detail.
- Maintain HR data and ensure process completion is done correctly for new hires, promotions, position changes, personal information changes, benefit changes, terminations, etc. ensuring that data quality is accurate and consistent.
- Reconcile benefit enrollments and changes and process bills for various carriers.
- Process new positions and new hire paperwork and maintain employee electronic records ensuring data and onboarding flows smoothly from recruitment into Day 1 of employment.
- Communicate with YMCA branch staff regarding onboarding process and eligibility for new hires to begin working.
- Monitor completion of online new hire training and automated reference checking for new hires.
- Responsible for maintaining employee records and files in the HR department.
- Respond to requests for employment verifications.
- Provide general HR administrative support within the HR Department.
- Ensuring association CPR/First Aid trainers are current on certifications and manage training rosters and requests for proof of training being completed by class participants.
- Track and monitor proof of insurance for association drivers.
- Manage association employee of the month program.
- Maintain RSVP lists, gather and prepare registration materials such as name tags, confirmation of catering and location logistics and other duties as assigned for staff events.
- Maintain the confidentiality and accuracy of all HR records.
- Support HR department project.
- At least 3 years of HR/Payroll/Benefit experience preferred. Past Ceridian Dayforce experience a plus.
- Understanding of Human Resources information systems and functionality with an ability to implement and maintain HR software systems and changes.
- Must have excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent team player; with an ability to work self-directed.
- Ability to represent the Y in a mature and professional manner.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to connect and relate with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization.
Hourly: $15.00 - $18.00
