In collaboration with the Development Department and Events Team, plan, implement, and manage a comprehensive Annual Fundraising Plan that focuses on increasing the number of donors and money raised through fundraising events. The will include leading and managing event logistics and volunteers, as well as solicitation of sponsors and event participants through face-to-face cultivation and direct mail/email/phone solicitation; and providing appropriate stewardship to all donors. As an individual contributor, this position is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of 75 to 100 top prospects and donors.

Educational Background: 
A four-year degree from an accredited college is preferred;
Skills/Experience: 
  • Preferably 1-2 years of development/sales and event management experience with documented results.
  • Demonstrated technology skills including desktop publishing, word processing and database management are strongly preferred; budgeting experience and proficiency in Excel spreadsheets are highly recommended; strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, public speaking, strategic and analytic skills will be expected from an ambitious, results-oriented team player.
Additional Information: 

Flexible work hours are required to meet the development needs of the agency, to include weekends. Dependable transportation is critical to the performance results expected from this position.
