Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Registration Coordinator provides registration assistance, internal and external resource services, and outreach to wounded military service members and their caregivers/families. Assists in keeping the WWP program database information current and up-to-date to better engage our warriors and caregivers, as well as derive trends and statistics from the data to help support staff with warrior and caregiver engagement across the entire organization.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinate alumni registration and verification process
  • Proactively communicate with warriors and family members to facilitate the registration process and answer eligibility questions
  • Research incomplete database information and find methods to complete records
  • Ensure alumni database records are updated with information collected from various alumni communications
  • Assist in communication coordination between warriors, family members and program staff
  • Respond to alumni requests via email, phone, and standard mail in a timely manner
  • Respond to inbound communication from warriors and family members; call out or email out to warriors and family members for follow-up, progress tracking, or engaging in our programs
  • Other related duties as assigned
Educational Background: 
High School Diploma required
Skills/Experience: 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in emailing and phone usage/etiquette
  • Proficiency in data entry- Salesforce proficiency a plus
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs- MS Word, Outlook, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Have good organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize work
  • Be able to effectively handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Must be a team player, ability to communicate with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus
  • Able to work flexible hours

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Two (2) years’ experience in customer service/support services required
  • One (1) year call center or military family support services experience preferred
  • Military experience or familiarity with military culture preferred
