The Director of Gymnastics and Dance will oversee our growing Gymnastics and Dance program along with a portion of our summer camp programming. This position is responsible for the management and development of the program, recruiting, hiring and training staff and scheduling of all practices and classes. In the summer this position incorporates gymnastics and dance into summer programs and has responsibility for Junior Camp Wapaca.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead oversee and implement both gymnastics and dance programs. This includes responisibility for a dance recital and other key events. 
  • Staff management of both program staff and summer camp staff including hiring, training and development of staff.
  • Integrate gymnastics and dance in summer camp programs.
  • Use creative skills to offer new programs and promote growth in the department.  
Educational Background: 
A Bachelors Degree in a related field is preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • We are seeking 3 or more years of directly related programming experience in gymnastics and/or dance.
  • We are looking for someone with experience in managing a department with experience managing and developing staff and working with budgets.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to plan and organize programs is essential. 
Compensation/Benefits: 

$42,000.00 - $45,000.00
