As highly motivated stewards of financial resources entrusted into the YMCA’s care, this position leads a well-qualified team to ensure the highest integrity of YMCA business practices. This includes ensuring accuracy and complete veracity with the General Ledger, accounts payable, activity registration, grants management, payroll, cash management, asset management, financial statements and technology support.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • To develop a continually increasing standard of excellence in the following key result areas:
  • General Ledger; Accounts Receivable/Payable; Payroll; Cash Management; Asset Management; Financial Statements; Audit; Technology Support; Grant Management and Budget Development Support.
Educational Background: 
Have a four year degree in accounting or related field or at least 6 years of equivalent work experience.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Have exceptionally demonstrated skills and knowledge in accounting, payroll and fiscal record-keeping using the latest of software tools.
  • Have the proven skills needed to lead a staff team to meet YMCA business department objectives.
  • Be passionate about the YMCA mission and vision and must personally advocate and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
  • Demonstrate solid leadership as demonstrated by a high level of loyalty and respect among those this person leads.
  • Have CPR and First aid certification prior to or within 60 days of hire.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
