The Senior Program Director position is located at YMCA Anthony Bowen 1325 W Street, NW WDC  20009.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • The Senior Program Director oversees the development and operations of all youth development, preschool, school age, including child watch, day camp, cool kids club, and sports programming; ensuring excellence in customer service, a safe environment and quality programming; Will have the ability to direct programs through supervision of volunteers and staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development and fundraising.
Educational Background: 
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, five or more years’ experience working with children and adults in an education/recreation environment
Skills/Experience: 
  • Must have strong fiscal and managerial skills as well as public relations skills necessary for communication with administrative staff, program staff, members, parents participants, and the community; Must have a solid grasp of administrative procedures, including budget development, income production, and expense control; Promotes and safety be maintaining program standards, providing regular training opportunities for staff, and ensure that everyone is aware of departmental safety standards, in accordance with association guidelines.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $58,300.00 - $60,000.00
