The EDC Lancaster County is seeking a President to provide leadership and vision in furthering the economic development strategies of Lancaster County.
The President is responsible for overseeing the administration, programming, and strategic planning of the organization. The President of the EDC is the key management leader of the 3 entities: Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, EDC Finance Corporation, and the Foundation of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President has oversight of membership and government relations, external communications, and overall community connections. The President will lead a dedicated, capable team of 15.
Founded in 1960, EDC Lancaster County is the leading organization dedicated to promoting business development and expansion within Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A private, not-for-profit, non-government organization, the EDC promotes the economic well-being of its communities with resources from site location to financing. Through EDC Finance Corporation, a community-based private, not-for-profit organization, Lancaster County businesses have access to federal, state, and local economic development incentive financing resources and tools. Additionally, the Foundation of the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County (branded as the Center for Regional Analysis) provides economic insights and data analytics to guide decisions that drive market performance and growth for private businesses and for policy makers.
