The Attainment Network seeks a proactive, organized, and highly adaptable team player. The Project Specialist will manage/coordinate several key initiatives, monitor key operational activities, and provide support to The Attainment Network’s executive leadership team. The Project Specialist will track and report on programmatic work and will support consistent communication and knowledge sharing among partners. Project Management and Coordination 70%

Provide coordination for 2-4 large-scale, cross-partner, multi-year projects at any given time.

Represent The Attainment Network in various partner forums and governance meetings.

Support project teams with consistent communications, including developing and sharing agendas,
notes, action items, progress documentation, and weekly program operations updates.

Document business and programmatic processes to support consistent implementation and replication.
Operational and Administrative Responsibilities 30%

The candidate must be comfortable handling administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence and other communications, creating reports and presentations, and supporting other back-office functions.

Coordinate collaboration among team members and with partners, including scheduling time, structuring meeting agendas, and preparing materials.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders within The Attainment Network and business partners to clearly define project scope boundaries and quantify the business value to be delivered.

Manage key aspects of project implementation and oversee project delivery in collaboration with project team. In collaboration with Project Leadership Team, compose and publish project charters; create and maintain project schedule. Record and manage project change requests as needed. Develop and implement project communication plan. Regularly report project status.

Recommend and utilize project management tools and resources to support streamlined operations and program implementation; train project teams as needed.

Proactively manage project risks/issues. Identify and resolve blockers raised by project team. Appropriately escalate project issues to Project Lead and ultimately to The Attainment Network Leadership as needed, in order to keep projects on track.

Support team knowledge management, including document collection, sharing, and note-taking.

Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external audiences.

Assist leadership in grant development and reporting.

Manage planning and logistics for in-person and virtual events, including meetings, convenings, conferences, focus groups, and other cross-partner collaborations.

Support production and dissemination of email blasts, reports, and other strategic communications.

Serve as project lead for annual Learner Voice initiatives, including Learner Voice Grant process.

Required Experience

2+ years of Project Management experience.

5+ years of experience in Higher Education, Workforce Development, or Non-profit (preferred).

Fundamental project management experience supporting multifaceted projects from concept to completion, including the utilization of basic project management tools, the development of work plans and schedules, the monitoring of deliverables, and reporting on progress.

Highly organized and methodical in approach to managing work and time; ability to perform, prioritize, and track multiple projects and tasks seamlessly.

Thrives in a highly collaborative environment in which teammates are also empowered and autonomous.

Self-directed: comfortable working autonomously and able to report on work product with ease.

Education and Training
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in related field (project management, information systems, social science, education, business management, or non-profit management) (required)
