BBBSSC is the oldest agency in Wisconsin and has a history of exemplary service. We annually serve about 425-450 youth with a like number of mentors. We’ve received the “Quality Agency” designation the past two years. We are highly respected locally.
We are home to Road America, Lake Michigan, and Whistling Straits (2004, 2015 PGA Championships and 2020 Ryder Cup), Blackwolf Run (U.S. Women’s Open in 1998 and 2012) and The Bull (Jack Nicholas designed) golf courses. We are an hour north of Milwaukee, two hours north of Chicago, and an hour south of Green Bay.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Run the agency with support of an active, involved Board of Directors and a staff of 8. We have an experienced, mature staff with several retirements coming in a few years.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Skills/Experience:
- Prefer prior proven (minimum 2-3 years) leadership experience, prefer some non-profit/BBBS experience, prefer fund raising/grant writing/financial planning experience, and prefer supervisory experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, pleasant personality , ability to work with the Board of Directors and drive toward common goals, represent Big Brothers Big Sisters and the organization’s mission as a public ambassador to its goals.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary: Determination based on candidate.
- Guideline range: $55,000 – 70,000.
