The YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a cause-driven, innovative leader to guide a diverse staff and volunteer team of the newest established branch serving Stillwater and surrounding communities.
This 36,000 foot facility includes a newly renovated gymnasium, 8 lane pool, fitness center, child watch, group cycling studio, group exercise studio, birthday rooms and family changing rooms.
The Stillwater Y has an annual operating budget of $750,000 with 613 membership units. Core programs include youth sports, swim lessons, school age child care, day camp, and Adventure Guides.
Coordinates the development of the branch council and committees. Directs the volunteer activities (policy and program) of the branch. Directs the financial development activities of the branch. Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities. Develops, maintains, and models collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area. Oversees the hiring, training, development and supervision of staff. Develops, manages, and monitors the branch operating budget and meet or exceeds budget targets. Directs branch strategic planning efforts and develops the annual operating plan of the branch. Develops and directs high quality relationship-based strategies. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions with staff, volunteers, members, and the community. Fosters a climate of innovation to develop programs which support the Y mission, goals, and strategies. Ensures the safety and maintenance of high quality facilities, grounds, and equipment. Directs branch marketing and communication efforts to effectively communicate benefit tothe community. Serves as a member of Y management and supports the overall objectives of the YMCA. Performs other duties as assigned.
