The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Information Technology Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the daily management of WWP’s IT technology infrastructure including servers, networks, telephone, and communication systems. This position leads the effort to develop and implement processes for network and system monitoring, implements system updates including upgrades, patches and new releases, and implements and coordinates system policies, procedures, and standards.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Responsible for the enterprise network and server architecture, definition, and delivery of enterprise network infrastructure components, such a network, voice, storage, servers, operating systems, and databases
- Lead IT department infrastructure planning and projects, and organizes and negotiates the allocation of IT resources
- Oversee IT Infrastructure team, staffing appropriately to meet maintenance, issue, and project demand
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations
- Manage team and individual performance and drive accountability to organization and individual goals
- Oversee all reports and documentation related to network and systems operations
- Develop maintenance schedules for network and systems equipment
- Set and adhere to benchmarks in problem resolution and system uptime
- Conduct research and remain current with the latest technologies and solutions
- Analyze existing operations and recommend improvements and growth of networks and IT systems
- Define and oversee infrastructure improvement projects
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
- Ensure systems adhere to security and compliance requirements
- Develop, monitor and maintain a disaster recovery plan that will protect key systems
- Develop an architecture roadmap that will leverage economies of scale to support business growth
- Conduct system feasibility studies and testing
- Manage capacity planning for future requirements of hardware, SAN storage and other Infrastructure requirements in a proactive manner
- Develop and implement all functional policies and procedures, including those for network and system architecture, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Collaborate with manager(s) to manage relationships with key technology vendors
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including networks, data centers, servers, PCs, operating systems, and associated hardware
- Manage infrastructure staffing, including supervision, scheduling, development, and evaluation
- Assist in the provisioning of end-user services, including the service desk and technical support services
- Coach, develop, and manage teammates against performance goals
- Work with data center and network telecommunicate providers
- Negotiate pricing and service levels agreements with IT service providers
- Build and implement an IT Infrastructure strategic plan
- Other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing infrastructure services required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in infrastructure services required
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools and systems preferred
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions preferred
Certifications & Licensure
- Technology certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, PMP or other are preferred
