UNF is looking for a dynamic Recruitment Manager to lead the recruitment function at UNF. This role will help build a reliable, scalable recruiting practice that addresses both short-term recruiting needs and longer-term talent objectives across UNF.
This person will manage, improve, and redefine the systems and processes that identify and secure the most enthusiastic, talented and coveted candidates by working on full life-cycle recruiting -- sourcing, evaluating, and hiring candidates. This is a strategic and hands-on role; the right candidate will be able to get out in front and champion new recruiting solutions, coach and support the team and hiring managers, while also being ready to dive into the minutest detail.
In this role, he/she will develop strong relationships across the organization, working collaboratively with key leaders, hiring managers and team members to drive results for the teams and the various department.
- Handle full lifecycle recruitment by sourcing talent creatively using a variety of available means, including leveraging employee referrals, social media, LinkedIn, and our ATS.
- Effectively identify, screen, assess, interview, and share talent with hiring managers for open roles, as well as building a strong pipeline of talent for business groups being supported.
- Conduct reference checks and initiate background screening for all final candidates.
- Be the lead point of contact for recruitment vendor relationships (e.g. ATS, background screening solution).
- Actively manage UNF’s career page and social media accounts.
- Act as point of contact for area employment agencies to coordinate use across the Foundation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and legislative policies.
- Partner with colleagues on the People & Culture team, Operations team, and IT teams to ensure a seamless transition from candidate offer acceptance to onboarding and orientation.
- Promote UNF’s employer brand online and offline.
- Attend recruiting events and roundtables to keep current on relevant recruiting trends and best practices.
- With oversight from People & Culture leadership:
- Act as primary liaison between immigration counsel, hiring manager, and beneficiaries.
- Support the development of policies and best practices surrounding international hiring.
- Serve as primary resource for hiring managers and employees on issues related to both immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
- Provide support for UNF’s internship program.
- Build relationships with academic programs and partnership organizations to increase opportunities for potential interns at the Foundation.
- Create and maintain robust metrics on all recruitment activity.
- Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve recruiting efforts.
- Up-skill hiring managers by providing them with effective interviewing and networking techniques.
- Research and propose creative outreach methods, partnerships, and process improvements, integrating market trends and hiring manager feedback.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience of talent management and recruiting experience required.
- Energetic personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good interviewing skills to include situational and behavioral interviewing.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; possesses integrity and high standard of ethics.
- Strong ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative; self-starter with attention to details.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage one’s time effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to build and maintain partner relationships and contribute to building positive team spirit.
- Experience working in a not-for-profit setting highly desired.
- Three years of experience utilizing HRIS system.
- Ability to demonstrate respect and sensitivity for cultural differences and commitment to building a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to represent Foundation in a professional manner.
- Professional appearance, dependable, reliable and mature personality.
- Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
