The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a highly regarded national voluntary health services agency, is seeking a talented Executive Director for its Northeastern New York Chapter, located in Albany, NY. The Executive Director will take an entrepreneurial approach to setting strategies and organizing operations to maximize the fundraising potential of this chapter. You must have the ability to establish a presence in the community and bring staff, volunteers and community leaders together to achieve a common goal.

The ideal candidate will have: at least 5 years of non-profit experience directing staff and partnering with volunteer boards, corporate contacts in Albany, NY, and surrounding areas and the ability to parlay “the search for a cure” into effective relationship building and fundraising projects. Experience providing strategic direction and practical oversight to a full range of special event and fundraising activities such as walks, golf tournaments, black-tie events, as well as success with “major gift” and “planned giving” programs is essential.
