The Cash Receipting Operations Specialist provides administrative finance/accounting support for a business unit or department.
The Cash Receipting Operations Specialist provides a variety of routine and non-routine finance and accounting-related tasks for a department or business unit. Duties may include preparation of cash receipts such as verifying the accuracy and coding of journal entry transactions, maintenance of A/R, general ledger and vendor payments, and similar tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Prepare daily bank deposit for all incoming checks/cash
- Setup batches for team/vendors and commit batches
- Scan and manage all supporting documents received with receipts
- Research and respond to questions from staff regarding cash receipts
- Manage and reconcile Petty cash
- Assist in providing documentation for auditors
- Experience in database management or producing reports, or in the use of automated systems or touch key calculator.
- Experience working with basic principles in accounting or in analyzing financial figures
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in work product.
