The Analytics Specialist will be responsible for tracking, importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, aggregating and analyzing data from various sources with the purpose of making conclusions about trends and best practices.  Additional responsibilities include creating presentations, graphics and reports.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Proactively manage CFF’s measuring and monitoring accounts from a strategic perspective, configuring and tracking with specific goals in mind.  Relevant platforms include Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Crimson Hexagon, Emma, Bitly, Conductor SearchLight, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and more.

Gather and analyze data and provide recommendations on how to build and adjust strategies based on findings.  This includes externally focused KPIs (social engagement, donations, advocacy actions, etc.) as well as internally focused Foundation-wide goals.

  • Create and follow an overarching testing plan, refine as needed.
  • Conduct A/B testing.
  • Support a regular KPI tracking system and dashboards that ladder up to internal WIGs.
  • Design, develop, implement and support mission-critical enterprise reports and dashboards using Microsoft’s PowerBI visualization or similar tool.
  • Cross-reference and combine data from multiple reporting tools to inform larger-picture understanding of customer experience (conversion rates, drop-off points, etc.). Work with other departments to improve inter-system information sharing and access to reporting data, gradually automating more parts of this reporting process.
  • Support the CF Foundation’s approach to audience segmentation and responsive targeting.
  • Keep up with trends and technologies in engagement monitoring tools, recommend adjustments as needed.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, analytics or a related field.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Minimum four years of experience.
  • People person who is a great collaborator and listener.
  • Superior writer and oral communicator.
  • Lover of data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous organization.
  • Project management and time management skills.
  • Collaborative problem-solver who can help the team adapt by conveying implications and provide options as priorities shift and projects change.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, social listening platforms, email analytics, click through rates, SEO rankings, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Ability to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards utilizing data from various production systems, data store(s)/data warehouse(s)/data mart(s).
  • Strong knowledge of building SQL Queries and building Power BI reports/dashboards.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Email Strategy Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature.
  • No heavy lifting required.
  • Minimal travel (e.g., 2x/yr.) to conferences and meetings, as necessary.
