We are a $27 million Association focusing on mission-driven, not-for-profit services with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout Williamson & Burnet Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school-age childcare provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life in over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizens. The Association currently encompasses 4 facility branches, a centralized Child Care Department, a Regional Day Camp, Residence Camp Branch, a Metropolitan Services office, and over 125 program sites committed to meeting the needs of our diverse population. The YMCA of Greater Williamson County responds to community needs with effective community-based programs that enrich the quality of spirit, mind and body for all people throughout Williamson County.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Manage related projects, maintain facility budget, hiring, training and ensuring a clean facility; participate in regular inspections, ensure repairs are completed timely, provide preventive maintenance; Maintain supplies and inventory. Working knowledge of central plant operations, preventative maintenance practices, chemical usage, MSDS, swimming pool, and air conditioning systems. Experience managing an aquatics center, landscape and janitorial contracts. Working knowledge of basic trades: plumbing, electrical, and carpentry preferred.

Educational Background: 
A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Success in this position requires 5+ years of facilities and maintenance experience and at least one year of supervisory experience. 
  • Must have good interpersonal, public relations, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members, staff, peers, volunteers, and supervisor. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate general information on YMCA Programs. 
  • Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $43,032.78 - $53,000.00
