We are seeking a strong and experienced professional to ensure the continued success of the Spencer Family YMCA. This newly opened (2017) operation includes a full wellness facility including gymnasium, and indoor aquatic center. The operation also includes off-site before and after school locations, summer day camp, and YMCA Guides and Princesses, as well as citywide community wellness programming. The Executive Director will oversee the total operation of the $4 million dollar Branch, including: board development, fundraising including annual giving and sustaining development, volunteer and community relations, staff supervision, program development and operations, and fiscal management.
- Develop community partnerships and maintain a diverse Branch Board of Management that actively supports the Y's goals and strategic plans. Recruit, select and develop diverse volunteers for the Branch Advisory Board. Promote open and honest dialogue that created strong morale, spirit, and sense of belonging to the Y.
- Oversee branch performance, and direct high-quality member engagement strategies and programs which support branch and association goals and strategies.
- Manage the budgeting process so that resources are devoted to top priorities and strategic objectives. Ensure operating budgets meet or exceed targets.
- Motivate, train, and develop staff and volunteers. Fosters a climate of innovation to develop member-focused programs which support the Y mission and goals.
- Fundraise and meet campaign goals by effectively communicating community benefits and the Y’s impact for all stakeholders. Develop positive working and collaborative relationships with other organizations, business and governmental entities.

Salary: $62,914.00 - $94,370.00
