- Leads the overall measurement strategy for Staying Sharp through discovery and development of measurement plans, learning agendas, and test plans.
- Sets up measurement frameworks and actionable insight generation.
- Creates, maintains, and delivers dashboards and reports for key stakeholders within the organization.
- Derives core insights from data to suggest, create, and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience.
- Manages the activities and deliverables of the outsourced partners.
- Provides senior executives and line-of-business managers with data-driven decision support through reporting and analysis.
- Performs ad hoc analysis requests for line-of-business managers.
- Manages third-party data enhancements to customer files.
- Evolves analytics processes and tools and incorporates new sources of data to improve understanding of Staying Sharp’s digital business and customers on a continuous basis.
- Adheres to and enforces AARP data privacy regulations.
- Ensures internal and third-party data processors have access to appropriate levels of data.
- Guides AARP development to ensure compliance with emerging data protection policies.
- Serves as a change agent within the team, asking tough questions based on user behavior and pushing the team to innovate and think differently.
- Works with a number of different software tools and across different internal divisions.
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, ideally in data management, including governance, business intelligence, reporting, data science, data architecture, data and predictive analytics, and support of information systems, and information technology.
- Expertise in defining an overall enterprise data management, analytics and data science, business intelligence, and reporting strategy and delivering against that strategy.
- Solid expertise and understanding of quantitative analytics, including marketing analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, digital attribution, forecasting, optimization, and predictive analytics.
- Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging enterprise data.
- Management and analytics methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics tools, including Omniture/Site Catalyst, Test and Target, and Audience Manager.
- Skill merging diverse data from different platforms, formats, and environments to prepare for data analysis.
- Fluent in building reports and visualizations using Tableau (or similar BI tools).
