Our Y seeks a talented, organized professional to help advance the mission of the organization through the creation, delivery and oversight of clear and compelling communications. Ideal candidate should have experience in the fields of social media, photography, video production, along with knowledge and direct experience in digital marketing and graphic design and should be able to navigate Microsoft Windows programs with demonstrable experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Windows Office products.

The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, articulate both in person and on paper. He/she will need to show great attention to detail and the ability to oversee projects from conception to completion while working within specific time parameters. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

Marketing:

  • Keep detailed data and tracking statistics for all outlined areas below; set analytic benchmarks and goals in conjunction with Director of Admin/Operations
  • Form and finalize processes and procedures, in conjunction with Director of Admin/Operations, for a yearly marketing calendar with all Director’s

Online Marketing:

  • Maintain online presence for CCA YMCA via social media, website, etc.
  • Responsible for implementing marketing strategies on all social media platforms in conjunction with Director of Admin/Operations
  • Manage all social media outlets including creating social media content calendar, handling customer interactions (responding to posts/messages), maintaining regular posts/content, and forwarding any issues to Director of Admin/Operations in a timely manner
  • Responsible for overseeing the YMCA Mobile App
  • Responsible for overseeing the Y’s online “calendar” – updating with all necessary information

Website Content:

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the CCA YMCA website
  • Ensure website content is accurate and consistently updated. Ensure content and images are professional, interactive and effective in communicating our services and programs
  • Work with Program Directors to ensure local web pages are current and reflect consistency throughout the site as we communicate to multiple audiences

Internal Marketing:

  • Maintain and update printed marketing materials, member communication pieces and templates including monthly/quarterly newsletters, program brochures, internal branch marketing pieces and promotions using in-house Graphic Design software
  • Ensure program department compliance with established brand standard policies in conjunction with Director of Admin/Operations
  • Assist departments in creating marketing materials in order to ensure brand compliancy in conjunction with Director of Admin/Operations
  • Responsible for coordinating all email marketing efforts, along with assisting Member Service Department in regular emails/notifications/promotions to members; creating and sending weekly/monthly e-newsletters; creating and maintaining appropriate email lists
  • Community event promotion and support

Photography/Videography:

  • Responsible for taking photos for us in print and digital marketing materials including special events, program activities, etc.
  • Responsible for the coordination and production of any video content (testimonials, demos, program features, etc.) for internal and external use
  • Maintain photo/video library for CCA YMCA

Annual Giving Campaign:

  • Assist in preparing all Annual Giving Campaign materials
  • Develop a marketing calendar for the year for Campaign
  • Assist in solicitation of gifts to the campaign
  • Assist in developing events throughout the year to support the campaign
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications and/or Public Relations field required
Skills/Experience: 
  • Demonstrated professional experience in developing and implementing social media strategies
  • Experience in photography or video production preferred but not required
  • Knowledge and direct experience in digital marketing and graphic design
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows programs with demonstrable experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Windows Office Products (Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to understand evolving trends within the market
  • Great communicator – articulate verbally and on paper
  • Detail oriented; highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to oversee projects through from concept to completion
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently on assigned tasks
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00
