In search of an experienced School Age Child Care Director to oversee 3 after school programs and 2 summer programs.

The School Age Child Care Director will be responsible for working directly with the children and staff to ensure that all programs are operating in accordance with YMCA and State of PA Guidelines.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include:

  • Enrollment of all School Age children into YMCA programs
  • Assist the Association Childcare/Food Service Director with early childhood program.
  • Ensure all Childcare School Age sites are meeting all DPW regulations in accordance with the State of PA
  • Responsible for processing of all CCIS paperwork on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for monitoring program and processing paperwork for CACFP At-Risk School Age program sites

Pay Rate: $24,000-$26,000 includes a YMCA Family Membership, 12% Retirement, 2 weeks paid vacation beginning in 2017, Free Childcare, 88% funded Health Insurance, 100% funded Dental and Eye Insurance.

Skills/Experience: 

Applicants must have 1 of the following qualifications: Bachelors degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education OR non-related BA degree with 30 related credits and 1 year experience working with children. Associates Degree and 2 years experience working with children.
