Assists with all aspects of year-round (school year & summer) community-based out-of-school-time program for elementary, middle and high school youth. The Assistant Site Director is responsible for assisting in creating the center environment, developing and implementing program activities, maintaining the facility, and hiring, training and supervising staff and program volunteers.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Assist with implementing and overseeing high quality, developmentally appropriate after-school program that aligns with grant requirements.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training and supervising employees and interns.
  • Provide data and narrative reports to meet monthly grant reporting requirements.
  • Seek, develop and maintain relationships with partners that grow and sustain the program.
  • Maintains accurate registration, attendance, and schedule records.  Prepares reports as needed.    
Skills/Experience: 
  • Proven ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, religious, sexual, and generational backgrounds.
  • Ability to develop effective community partnerships that enhance after-school program.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Exchange and Outlook; use of spreadsheet software such as Excel; use of on-line reporting systems for data entry. 
  • Ability to write and communicate clearly and effectively.
