Lead SACC & Summer Camp part-time staff and work as a team role-model.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manages, directs and coordinates a before and afterschool school age childcare program with 60+ children.
- Trains, develops, and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.
- Assures compliance with NJ OOL standards.
- Develops and implements innovative programming both during the school year and summer camp months.
- Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
- Assists in Kids Day Out program during the school year.
- Supervises teacher assistants in school age care program and counselors at Camp Topanemus
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with and leading youth programs
- A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
- Has a proactive, hands-on and professional work ethic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word , Publisher and Excel
- Adult and child CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 30 days of hire
- Must have car and a valid driver’s license
