Campaign Coordinator, Development, Nothing but Nets

The Development Coordinator, Nothing But Nets will be a critical member of the Nothing But Nets’ development team, reporting to the Deputy Director. The coordinator will provide administrative support – including managing budgets, travel, logistics for the Deputy Director as well as assist the development team in activities to help raise $3 million annually. Activities will include costumer service to donors, support in drafting fundraising email appeals, creation of quarterly and annual development reports, management of fundraising events and special projects, and assist in work to support partner activations. This position is an integral part of a hardworking, close-knit team devoted to identifying partners, supporters, and constituencies that will help Nothing But Nets achieve our goals to provide life-saving bed nets and other tools to protect children and families throughout Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean from malaria.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics and expense reports for the Deputy Director.
  • Prepare, finalize, and distribute briefing notes, memos, and internal and external correspondence as directed.
  • Schedule and organize key meetings and conference calls, including preparing meeting materials and taking minutes as needed.
  • Work with Finance and Business Services/Budget Departments to process bills, invoices, and reimbursements for partnership and development activities. Tracking disbursements and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support development of quarterly reports and business plan.
  • Help support management and tracking of budget.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and partners by providing timely and accurate information to all stakeholders as needed.
  • Support fundraising team by managing incorrect transactions, over the phone donations, donation issues, donor acknowledgement letters, data base management.
  • Support in the development and coordination of monthly fundraising emails.
  • Assist in research and recruitment of prospective partners and donors.
  • Manage special projects and fundraising events.
  • Liaise with UNF departments and conduct cross-department projects.
Educational Background: 
College degree required.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Past experience and interest in fundraising, communications and costumer/donor relations.
  • Self-starter and ability to work across multiple departments with a range of people.
  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Advanced experience in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Raiser’s Edge, Classy, Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable carrying
  • out multiple tasks on different projects and assignments.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Budgetary experience is a plus.
  • Ability to flexibly manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Team player that is interested in being part of a highly functioning, fast-paced group of professionals.
  • Ability to meet regular attendance/tardiness policy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
