The Algona Family YMCA is seeking a mission driven individual with strong organizational skills to take our YMCA programming to the next level.  Program responsibilities include:  Youth Sports, Health & Wellness, Youth Development, and Family Programming.  A strong background in sports and health & wellness is necessary to do this job effectively as well as an ability to communicate effectively to youth, adults and staff.  Must be willing to work weekends and evenings and have the ability to create new programming.  Must be a team leader, able to recruit and work with volunteers and supervise and train staff. 

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Lead volunteers and participants in different program activities. 
  • Supervise staff. 
  • Recruit volunteers. 
  • Budget development.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary: $28,500.00 - $31,500.00
