The Human Resources Manager provides human resource services in the following functions: job analyses, planning personnel needs, organizational development and recruiting, staff development and training, employee relations, compensation, talent management, benefits and payroll, with a high level of expertise in area(s) of specialization.

Areas of Responsibility: 

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for administering and maintaining HR systems, programs, procedures, and plans according to HR policies and will provide assistance to all levels of personnel on various HR data related issues and requests. Develop HR overall & Implement strategy aligning to the organization strategy.

Duties include:

Recruitment

  • Oversee the overall recruitment process ensuring compliance to the agreed SLA and global recruitment procedure and policy.
  • Manage the recruitment of key positions, such as the division directors and philanthropy members.
  • Provide periodic recruitment report to the Country Director and supervisor on recruitment status.
  • Guide hiring managers in developing job description based on global generic job description including assigning a most appropriate job grade.

Talent Management

  • Develop strategy on talent development aligning to organization strategy.
  • Talent review, potentially through the 9 box, and developing the retention, career and development plan for the high potentials.
  • Identify the capacity needs of organization, division and individual through appropriate assessment approaches and formulate capacity plan based on the assessment results. Develop capacity plan accordingly.
  • Develop technical competencies of division as the guide for talent development.
  • Take lead on performance management, ensuring individual KPI aligning to organizational vertical alignment of KPI.
  • Take lead in the learning & development through individual development plan. Take lead in the implementation of learning & development.
  • Developing & implementing career path aligning to organizational strategy.
  • Ensuring compensation aligns to the appropriate job grade based on the update from worldwide office.

Organizational Development

  • Guide organization leaders and manager through change process.
  • Internalizing Values.
  • Take lead on the development of action plan in responsing to employee engagement survey (People Survey) and monitor their implementation.
  • Review existing HR policies and procedures and make amendment as necessary, develop new policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance (when required) during the organizational and/or divisional restructuring.

Reporting

  • Develop HR analytics to update the Country Director and direct supervisor.

Supervisory role

  • Supervising Recruitment Coordinator and HR Generalist.
  • Human Resources Manager is based in Jakarta and reports to the Director of Finance and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE 

  • Responds to moderately complex employee/management questions and problems based on advanced knowledge of aspects applicable to the subject area.   
  • Leads projects relevant to HR organizational initiatives.     
  • Provides data, reports and analysis as requested.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience: 
  • A minimum of 5 years Human Resources work experience in area(s) of specialization or equivalent combination.
  • Experience coordinating and leading projects.
  • Experience responding to HR related questions, problems and data information requests from employees/management.
  • Experience the following areas: database management and spreadsheet software; constructing, and producing reports; data input, manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Experience working with integrated Human Resources Management Systems.
  • Experience in talent review through 9 box and organizational development.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.
  • High proficient in English, oral and written. Experience in report writing.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Advanced understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • May require ability to travel within Indonesia and internationally.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, stressful and highly visible environment.
