Provides project management, communications, and programmatic support for grant-funded program focused on state performance of long term services and supports. Determines work processes and methods for accomplishing assigned tasks. Incumbent(s) in this position may perform all or a significant combination of duties depending on assignment. Responsible for regular communication with all team members and internal/external partners, project management, analysis, and preparing reports.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides day-to-day project management to support overall activities including communications, strategy, planning and implementation.
- Manages the project’s flow of information. Serves as an active member of the planning and implementation teams and provides input and insight, as appropriate.
- Designs, writes, edits, and fact-checks management reports and presentations.
- Researches and prepares materials and reports to support management decision-making.
- Initiates, builds, and maintains internal relationships, partnerships, and coalitions. Effectively represents communications efforts, strategy, planning and implementation on special workgroups, at meetings, and other gatherings, as requested. Acts as a liaison and central point of contact for project data collection and reporting.
- Works with external funders and other key contacts as necessary. Communicates with liaisons at partner organizations to arrange timing, processes, and follow-up for conference calls, web conferences, meetings, and events.
- Actively involved in troubleshooting issues related to operational matters.
- Monitors and tracks time-sensitive projects and events to ensure timely and accurate completion and compliance.
- Manages special projects, as required.
- Demonstrates WORLD CLASS cultural attributes and behaviors in all interactions.
Educational Background:
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree
Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Some experience in communications is preferred, especially with new technologies and social media.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels and across multiple departments.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Macintosh experience desirable, but not required.
