You will be a member of our core research and innovation team of Recruitment and Admissions, actively working to innovate our approach to recruiting and selecting corps members. You will be responsible for complex research, model building, and analysis of recruitment innovations. This includes constructing rigorous quantitative and qualitative research and analysis methods. You possess analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. You are able to demonstrate the ability to set vision, see the big picture through the noise, and view challenges through multiple lenses.
Areas of Responsibility:
Strategy and Research
- Developing quantitative models and solutions through data analysis for recruiters to help strengthen our overall process and improve our yields
- Partnering with our leadership team, researching core topics to provide critical analysis which will serve as foundational insights for our next strategic plan
- Identifying areas of opportunity, executing research, and implementing findings to improve in-season processes
- Connecting ground-level observations with quantitative data sets to identify areas of opportunity for the team at large
- Building a complex set of relationships from the recruitment team, admissions team, and program team to identify cross-cutting research opportunities to increase the overall size of the corps and the overall effectiveness. In addition, leveraging these relationships across the team to ensure strong traction and implementation of the team’s research at large.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree required
Skills/Experience:
- 5-7 years of professional experience
- Prior experience in consulting preferred
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, including python (or equivalent language) strongly preferred
- TFA staff experience preferred
- Experience in recruitment/admissions preferred

- Knowledge of advanced programming languages (e.g. Stata, R, Java) strongly preferred
Education
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
Work Demands
- Ability to travel to in-person meetings in various U.S. cities, on average, once monthly
- Evening and weekend work required during busy seasons and at tight deadlines
