The Project Manager leads small scale, short-term marketing projects and supports Global Digital’s Senior Project Manager with efforts related to The Nature Conservancy’s digital roadmap.
The Project Manager manages and leads small scale, short-term digital marketing projects and supports Global Digital’s Senior Project Manager with efforts related to The Nature Conservancy’s digital roadmap. They establish project goals and success factors, develops project plans, budgets and schedules with input and buy-in from key stakeholders and team members, and leads the project teams to successfully achieve those goals in the most cost-effective and time-saving manner possible. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Project Manager monitors and measures project progress, conducts corrective action as necessary, communicates project status information to all stakeholders, performs risk management, issue resolution and conflict management, and controls project scope and quality. They ensure coordination between sub-projects that may span across multiple digital marketing projects, geographies and campaigns, as well as with TNC partners, vendors and volunteers. They obtain go/no-go decisions at all project decision points from the Senior Project Manager and Global Digital leads, and identifies and obtains approval for all project deliverables from the appropriate QA review teams. They lead the cross-organizational, cross-functional project team in using project management methodologies and processes, and ensures all TNC systems standards are met. This is one-year contract position.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Apply project management methodologies to all phases of projects.
- Set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Collaborate effectively with internal groups and outside consultants, supervise process and maintain integrity of organizational digital marketing and systems standards.
- Effectively manage project budgets.
- Participate in negotiations for complex and/or sensitive agreements.
- Well versed in industry best practices, and an ability to adapt them to TNC’s organization and culture.
- Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods.
- Willing to travel.
- Experience using project management techniques and tools including office tools such as the Microsoft Office suite, and JIRA.
- Experience managing a project team and the planning and managing aspects of medium term projects.

- Effectively communicates via presentations, conservations and documents.
- Strong dedication to the development of customer-centric standards and solutions.

- Experience working with budgets and/or producing cost/benefit and risk analyses.
