We are looking for a creative, caring, fun, energetic individual to fill the School Age Child Care Director position at our YMCA Ayrlawn branch in Bethesda, Maryland. We are a growing association and need someone who has tenure and experience working in a leadership role in a licensed child care program. At the YMCA you will create, facilitate, and implement curriculum, processes, and strategies that will provide the optimal Y experience for our “Y kids,” parents, and families.
- The SACC Director is responsible for managing an off-site school age child care center, supervising the staff and for planning, developing, implementing, and delivering the Association’s child care curriculum.
- Overall, the position requires the SACC Director to create a quality child care program that reflects the mission and values of the YMCA.
- 3-5 years’ experience working at a licensed child care program; progressive responsibility for development and delivery of program curriculum; staff supervision including training and development;
- Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate to parents, school staff, and children;
- Must be physically active to play games and sports with children.

Salary: $41,700.00 - $46,700.00
