Reporting to the Director of Professional Healthcare Services, Manager, Professional Healthcare Services Manage and cultivate relationships with partnering healthcare system accounts for the Dementia Care Coordination (DCC) program, an innovative dementia management program across the two state Chapter. As a volunteer driven organization, all staff are expected to recruit, cultivate, support and manage volunteer relationships to advance the mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. The ability to travel extensively throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire is required.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with partnering healthcare system accounts for the Dementia Care Coordination (DCC) program, an innovative dementia management program
- Engage with health systems to make them aware of Massachusetts Acute Care Recommendations and the benefits of being a dementia-capable system
- Leverage existing relationships with referring clinicians to expand throughout the health system
- Collaborate with key Chapter and Regional staff to identify influencers and potential partners
- Graduate level intern supervision
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Skills/Experience:
- Four years’ experience developing, growing and maintaining relationships with healthcare systems, clinical practices, community health centers, and/or health plans
- Experience in marketing and/or outreach to health care settings
- Understanding of Public Health and the role of a Voluntary Health Organization in promoting and interpreting new findings
