Year-round, Side by Side Kids (SBSK) looks for servant leaders to staff it's afterschool program. We are currently recruiting for afterschool teachers, affectionately known as "crew leaders" by our kids.
Afterschool teachers are responsible for facilitating a safe and caring environment where students can grow academically, build positive relationships, and develop an understanding of God's love for them. This is a part-time position requiring 7-16 hours of work per week. Regular scheduled hours are from 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the occasional extension to 6:15 p.m. Hours will flex to accommodate some evening and weekend activities. The length of employment is one school semester. Applicants should be passionate about working with children, intuitive about the needs of others, and ready for a challenge.
