The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation located in Troy, MI is seeking a candidate with administrative and strong bookkeeping or basic accounting skills. Knowledge of accounting principles and an accounting background a plus!

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Responsibilities include database management, accounts payable, revenue processing and receipting, P&L and monthly GL reconciliation, maintenance of chapter accounting files, compliance management and audit, securing volunteers, coordinating mailings, ordering supplies and answering phones. 
  • Candidate will assist with local events as needed from event logistics and supporting staff. Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) necessary to communicate diplomatically and effectively with volunteers, donors and other staff members.
Skills/Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years of relevant work experience with proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, social media and CRM knowledge.
  • A working knowledge of desktop publishing a plus.
  • Requires strong administrative skills to manage multiple projects, must be detail oriented, analytical, ability to prioritize and stay highly organized.
  • Volunteer management experience helpful.
