The Concur Administrator provides highly specialized services related to travel and business expenses, employee expense reporting and vendor payment for The Nature Conservancy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Concur Administrator is responsible for managing the Conservancy’s electronic expense reporting and payment request system (Concur) and related activities. The Administrator provides highly specialized services in the areas of Concur user support, system documentation, user training, and system management in accordance with TNC policies and procedures, best practices in financial/organizational management, and legal and regulatory compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Manage the user support desk, providing direct support to users of Concur and responding to complex employee and management questions based on advanced knowledge of the subject area.
- Maintain system documentation and training materials; serving as the lead in development and delivery of new materials or training sessions as appropriate.
- Maintain the Concur connect website
- Oversee user accounts, and perform regular review and analysis of employee profiles and system configuration to ensure compliance with TNC Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems on projects related to system configuration enhancements or changes.
- Stay current on the product and working closely with outside vendors and staff.
- Special projects related to new system implementations or roll-outs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical experience with spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and other financial management tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Concur (preferred) or other expense/payment software, or similar technology.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience in developing training and documentation and executing training.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Able to understand tax, legal and regulatory issues and the importance of compliance.
- Familiarity with accounting/financial issues and analysis.
- Knowledge of current trends in specific field appreciated.
- Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated.
