The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation located in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Office and Compliance Administrator with solid administrative and accounting skills.
The Office and Compliance Administrator will help to ensure efficient and compliant chapter operations related to administrative, financial, event and program requirements. The position directly supports the Executive Director and the Development Staff. The Office and Compliance Administrator will also maintain professional and supportive relationships with volunteers, vendors and sponsors.
In addition, candidate will accurately communicate and raise awareness about CF and the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, while coordinating administrative activities and facilitate day-to-day operations of the chapter. Educates CF families, patients and caregivers with up-to-date information on research progress, access to healthcare, pending legislative issues on both a local and national level, and other services provided.
- Will assist in the management of departmental financials making sure that all receipting is done correctly
- Develop and maintain knowledge of, and performing job functions in compliance with internal rules, regulations and policies
- Oversees and ensures timely and accurate submission of contracts and invoices through in-house CRM.
- Oversees the execution of all accounting and financial responsibilities in compliance with audit procedures and accounting manual, including petty cash reconciliations and proper awarding of cash prizes; Reconciles monthly P&L statements
- Manages the CRM for event related leads that follow the CFF sales methodology- able to train staff on how to use this tool
- Responsible for securing phone banking, in-office and day of event volunteers. Leads training, including cash verification, raffle, and W-2Gs and W-9 procedures. Handles minor volunteer issues.
- Oversees the entire auction component for the chapter. This includes but is not limited to: volunteer recruitment and development, procurement, data entry, execution, close out and donor acknowledgments.
- Oversees logistics for all events and directly manages logistics for specifically assigned events, as well as related contracts.
- Coordinates meeting dates for committee meetings and develops board meeting materials.
- Candidate must have a solid knowledge and successful track record in handling internal processes and procedures, as well as audit and compliance requirements related to chapter operations.
- Prior history of audits that have been rated: “green”; and one or more years’ experience in oversight, on the job training, and/or supervision preferred.
